About the Business
Claire's Creatures is owned and run by Claire & Tim Barlow. The concept was brought about some years ago after our own collection was looking like getting out of hand. The doors first opened in September 2008 following the refurbishment of the old payroll office at Brisol Works in Accrington. As the business developed and expanded the original premises proved too small, so in October 2011 we moved to a new larger store in Darwen. This allowed us to increase both our range of products, and the amount of stock we can carry.
The Shop has been purpose built to ensure that our stock is kept to the highest possible standards, as welfare of our stock is priority. We try to stock the things that our customers want most of the time but we can arrange special orders if there is anything in particular that you would like, so don't be shy, just ask! We carry a large stock of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, small mammals and a selection of caged birds.
