About the Business
The Pet Food Co, Maybole opened in 1999 followed by The Pet Food Co (Ayr) in 2000. Our first e-commerce website www.thepetfoodco.co.uk went online in 2006 with a small range of our products offered UK wide. We stock a huge range of pet food, accessories, toys and everything else you could want for your pet together with a wide range of horse feeds, supplements and equine supplies, farm animal and smallholder feeds and accessories. The business has grown from strength to strength with our own deliveries now covering South West Scotland.
We offer free local delivery on orders over £150 and only a minimal charge for smaller orders. Our website allows us to offer many of our products to the whole of the UK using our courier service. Our knowledgeable staff, all having horses and pets of their own, are able to offer help and advice on care and feeding if required. Staff members are AMTRA qualified for dispensing equine and companion animal wormers.
