About the Business
Star Boarding kennels was established in 1977 by John and Maureen Hyde. It is a family run business, licenced for 62 dogs and 94 cats and set in approximately one acre of land. Our team consists of seven permanent employees chosen for their interest and commitment to the animals. Maureen personally looks after the variety of small animals and birds boarded with us throughout the year. Sue, our Receptionist, has been with us since 1987 and is on hand to answer any general enquiries. For any specific requirements or worries that you may have about boarding your dog or cat, either Tracy or Leila as they are available to give advice for ensuring that your pet enjoys his stay with us; thereby, allowing you to happily leave him and enjoy peace of mind. We prefer to see visitors between 2.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. when we are able to spend time with new clients discussing their requirements and answering questions.
